Why a trade was not opened
A candidate or a BUY / SELL signal does not automatically mean a new position will appear.
If a trade was not opened, review Market Hunter, candidate details, and Event Log.
What can stop an entry
Common user-visible reasons include:
- candidate score is below the required level;
- AI did not approve the setup;
- confidence is below the configured threshold;
- Entry / Stop Loss / Take Profit are incomplete;
- the levels do not match the trade direction;
- Stop Loss exceeds the configured maximum;
- Profit/Risk is below the configured minimum;
- the open-position limit has been reached;
- the daily-loss limit has been reached;
- market conditions changed before the position was opened.
What HOLD means
HOLD means the current analysis does not contain a confirmed action to open a position.
The reason can be shown directly in manual AI analysis or in Market Hunter candidate details.
Where to check
- Open Candidate details for Market Hunter candidates.
- Review the rejection reasons and warnings.
- Compare the result with Risk management.
- Open Event Log when a trading action failed or finished without the expected result.
